The fifth is the first of Abernethy's two very long par threes for the men. For the fair sex it is a par four.
The drive is uphill over a wide fairway which ends in a series of awkward hummocks just before a hidden green.
For most golfers the green is out of reach from the tee so a four is quite acceptable.
