Welcome to Abernethy Golf Club Ladies section, information page.

Ladies meet on a Monday. The emphasis is on enjoying golf, and the friendly banter that surrounds competitions.

Not all competitions are for serious golfers, we try to encourage a mixture of fun golf for the more relaxed golfers.

9 hole competitions and fun nights tee off at 5pm. Monthly medals and extra medals have 2 tee off times-one at 1pm and another at 5pm, to accommodate ladies who work. There are weekend competitions, some that are for ladies only and some when we play with the men.

Abernethy Ladies play interclub matches with other clubs in the local area. These are relaxed and friendly, with the teams enjoying a supper following the match.

Most ladies competitions cost £2.00 to enter. 50p of this goes to the ladies social fund, and helps to subsidise ladies outings and fun prizes.

Enter by adding your name to the competition poster on the notice board in the ladies changing room.

New members, who wish to meet other Ladies, should come along on a Monday, and introduce yourself.
